Hali graduated from Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology in 2010 with an Associates in Veterinary Technology. Prior to working at the Veterinary Emergency Referral Center, Hali worked her way from volunteer, an assistant, and then promoted to technician working for 20 years.

In her spare time, Hali enjoys cultivating her plant children, spending time with her cats, and relaxing at the beach. She enjoys working at VERC because no two days are ever the same and the joy she gets from helping patients that can’t speak for themselves.

"I had to take my boy for an ultrasound as his vet and I had exhausted every avenue of care we could come up with as he had decided not to eat, and this had gone on for two weeks.. watching him everyday, I was not expecting a good prognosis.. these folks are wonderful.. from the front desk, to the techs, to the doctor that cared for us.. having worked in the medical field serving humans, I had a sense of where this would go, and I was correct.. and although it was a difficult decision, and much conversation between his doctor and I, I came to the right decision for us. I say all this because not once did I feel rushed.. they allowed me to take as much time as I needed, to weigh the pros and cons of the options offered, the warmth and compassion they showed towards me went a long way to ease my mind.. I can’t speak highly enough of their ethic.. I’m grateful that my personal vet chose to refer me to them.."
