Common questions and concerns answered about VERC Emergency Care, Specialty Care, and payment services.

Emergency Care

  • No appointment needed for pet emergencies.
  • All emergencies are triaged according to the severity of their medical condition.
  • Clients are encouraged to call prior to transport of sick or injured pets.
  • What to bring:
    • Pet’s medical records, if available.
    • Your identification.
    • All current medications in their original labeled containers.
    • If concern of poison or toxin ingestion, please bring all available packaging/containers of poison/toxin.

 

Specialty Care

  • Specialty consults are available by appointment only, Monday-Thursday, 8am- 4pm. Contact your veterinarian for a referral.
  • What to bring:
    • Copy of your pet’s medical records (your veterinarian can send records prior to the appointment).
    • All current medications in their original labeled containers.
