Dr. Eyles graduated from the University of South Florida with degrees in biology and psychology before attending veterinary school at Tufts University in Grafton, Massachusetts. After graduating from Tufts in 2005, he lived in northern Vermont for three years, practicing primarily as a veterinarian for dairy cows.
His career transitioned into small animal medicine and surgery and has been focused almost entirely on emergency and critical care. He moved to Florida’s beautiful Gulf Coast and joined the VERC team in 2009. When not working, he enjoys playing drums, skateboarding and playing with his three-legged rescue cat, Flower Pot.
See All Our Specialists"We have unfortunately had to visit 3 times- our poor fur baby had a freak accident impailing himself on a lawn ornament jumping in air to catch a ball, had a severe gi virus, and recently came in as bit by a neighborhood dog. The staff has always been very loving and gentle with him and the doctors and nurses and staff have been clinically excellent. His two surgical procedures have healed very well without any post op complications. They have called to follow up and see how he was doing. The front desk has always been very nice and patient. I am very grateful we have a top notch vet er in our area. I give them 5 stars!! Hopefully we won’t have to return but if we do i know my fur baby is in good hands!!"
