Dr. Eyles graduated from the University of South Florida with degrees in biology and psychology before attending veterinary school at Tufts University in Grafton, Massachusetts. After graduating from Tufts in 2005, he lived in northern Vermont for three years, practicing primarily as a veterinarian for dairy cows.
His career transitioned into small animal medicine and surgery and has been focused almost entirely on emergency and critical care. He moved to Florida’s beautiful Gulf Coast and joined the VERC team in 2009. When not working, he enjoys playing drums, skateboarding and playing with his three-legged rescue cat, Flower Pot.
See All Our Specialists"A big thank you to Veterinary Emergency Referral Center on Davis Hwy in Pensacola, for the wonderful care they took of our Stella Marie. Stella decided to try one of her dad’s heart meds last night and enjoyed an overnight stay at this fine facility. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly by Makayla and Stacy, before Stella was whisked back for care. We had to leave our girl overnight in the capable hand of Dr. Kristin Navarro and vet tech, Joy. Treatments, plans and options were thoroughly explained by a very caring Dr. Navarro and Joy. The same group was finishing up a long shift when we picked Stella up and were just as friendly and concerned for Stella and us. A scary and worrisome experience was made so much better by the group at VERC."
