Dr. Lisa Hermosa graduated from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and completed her clinical year at NC State College of Veterinary Medicine. Growing up in central Florida, Dr. Hermosa found a love for caring for animals, especially horses. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, sleeping, carb loading, and working in her barn. Besides her beloved horses, Dr. Hermosa has two special cats, Mutombo, who she bottled fed and her sweetest one Mowgli.

"We have unfortunately had to visit 3 times- our poor fur baby had a freak accident impailing himself on a lawn ornament jumping in air to catch a ball, had a severe gi virus, and recently came in as bit by a neighborhood dog. The staff has always been very loving and gentle with him and the doctors and nurses and staff have been clinically excellent. His two surgical procedures have healed very well without any post op complications. They have called to follow up and see how he was doing. The front desk has always been very nice and patient. I am very grateful we have a top notch vet er in our area. I give them 5 stars!! Hopefully we won’t have to return but if we do i know my fur baby is in good hands!!"
