Dr. Eyles graduated from the University of South Florida with degrees in biology and psychology before attending veterinary school at Tufts University in Grafton, Massachusetts. After graduating from Tufts in 2005, he lived in northern Vermont for three years, practicing primarily as a veterinarian for dairy cows.
His career transitioned into small animal medicine and surgery and has been focused almost entirely on emergency and critical care. He moved to Florida’s beautiful Gulf Coast and joined the VERC team in 2009. When not working, he enjoys playing drums, skateboarding and playing with his three-legged rescue cat, Flower Pot.

The two ladies at the front desk Angel and Michelle (?), the vet technicians, Mary and Nate, and Dr. Hermosa. Everybody was so kind, caring and professional. Dr. Hermosa got him all stitched up and I am pleased to say he is doing very well and getting back to being his normal silly self! Couldn't have asked for a better experience in a very upsetting situation."
