Dr. Eyles graduated from the University of South Florida with degrees in biology and psychology before attending veterinary school at Tufts University in Grafton, Massachusetts. After graduating from Tufts in 2005, he lived in northern Vermont for three years, practicing primarily as a veterinarian for dairy cows.
His career transitioned into small animal medicine and surgery and has been focused almost entirely on emergency and critical care. He moved to Florida’s beautiful Gulf Coast and joined the VERC team in 2009. When not working, he enjoys playing drums, skateboarding and playing with his three-legged rescue cat, Flower Pot.

RIP Maggie - you were a wonderful soul and a huge part of our dog family and we will all see you again in the near future - Maggie was actually the youngest of my five dogs - Maggie was just short of 10 years old - Maggie had loads of personality and served admirably in the role of ambassador to all the other dogs"
